Goal Setting

Regardless of how long you have been a member of CrossFit 416, or how advanced you are in training, this is an awesome opportunity for you to review the reasons that keep bringing you through our doors, day in and day out, and to share them with us.

The reason you show up is important to us. We want to ensure that you are getting exactly what you need out of our facility and our coaches. We are here for you, and your goals are immensely important to us. They are what focus and drive success. Without goals and the intentions behind them, any success we may have is hit or miss, and often accidental, erratic, and unmeasurable.

There are certain times of the year where we are more prone to setting goals. Quite often, those goals are abandoned as we claim they were unrealistic, or that life got in the way.  Almost all of us have a goal that resurfaces every year that we would desperately like to accomplish, but often that goal is attempted year after year, but never achieved. We want to make sure that moving forward in 2017, your health and fitness goals don’t get put back on the shelf, unattempted, because life got in the way.

We want this to be a year of bright spots for you!

Not only will taking the time to sit down with a coach help focus your efforts here at the gym, it will also better equip you in all areas of your life. In the session the coach takes the time to help you figure out what your health and fitness goals are, and helps establish a strategy for success. These sessions help the coaches understand your goals and why you are here so that we are better able to serve your needs. We see you multiple times a week, but it is not often that we are given the opportunity to really get to know you as an individual, and understand what keeps you going. Getting to know you will help us become better resources of knowledge and encouragement moving forward.

Coaches provide you with the means to understand how to effectively set goals, to have a support system, and to learn the tools to effectively goal set in other areas of your life. Quite often it is not the goal itself, but the approach to the goal that is the most difficult part. We have equipped ourselves with what is needed to ensure that you are able to understand how to make a goal, and the steps you we will need to take to get you there.

You will meet with your coach every three months to review your goals, discuss challenges and seek advice on strategy. If you have accomplished your goal, we are there to help you set a new one. We support you, hold you accountable, and to keep you on track. Our goal is to make sure that we are helping you work towards yours!
