News and Notes:

The 2016 CrossFit Open has come to an end! This year saw a few new movements, some long WOD’s and a whole lot amazing performances by everyone on Friday Night Lights.  We had over 60 people take on the challenge this year and the coaches are very proud of everyone who worked their butt off every Friday night.  Special shout out to those who competed in the Open for the very first time!!

I would like to thank all of the coaches and judges who volunteered their time to judge every week!  Judging can be mind numbing sometimes (counting double unders), but each and every judge supported and encouraged every participant.

Finally I would like to thank Crystal! For the 3rd year in a row, Crystal has volunteered her time to organize Friday Night Lights (Picnic Club).  This year was extra special, with a new theme every week, drinking games, and an after parties.  She provided a complete write up for each week and even bought a piñata!  The last five weeks would not have been the same without all of your hard work, Thank You!!

Honourable mention to Steph for making amazing treats each week, no matter the theme! As well as Amanda for supply a lot of beer throughout the last 5 weeks!
