Here is a note from Picnic Club Queen, Crystal:
It is with a heavy heart that I make this week’s picnic club announcements. For those of you without a calendar it is the last week of the open and thus, the last week of picnic club.
I’ll give you a moment to wipe away your tears. I know I need one.
Week 4’s winner was Amanda Secor. If you didn’t get a chance to try one of the mini muffins she brought in, I apologize because that’s probably my fault. I ate at least 15 of them. (oink oink)
And now it’s time for week 5’s ingredient. It’s a great one. So good that we had to save it until the end.
That’s right. Bacon. The food that makes even brussel sprouts delicious. The food that you can literally wrap around anything to make said thing better. This week you are challenged to turn Wilbur into a treat, and bring it to the gym.
For those of you who do not eat pork – you can eat turkey bacon.
For those of you who are vegetarian – you can eat some carrots. I really don’t know enough about being a vegetarian to offer you any creative alternatives.
Also – because I’ve been trying to find sneaky ways to ask for pizza for the past 4 weeks to no avail, this week we are asking people to contribute by bringing in $5 and we will order pizzas. Lots and lots of pizzas. Daniele won’t be making reservations anywhere, since we’re hoping for enough pizzas that a dinner reservation will not be necessary.
